About the Gathering:
2014 marked the first year an attempt was made to organize a larger gathering by promoting the event in climbing gyms and seeking partners and sponsors. 2014 was also the first edition to feature a printed guidebook (topo) of the area and to offer prizes and participation kits. It was the edition with approximately 100 attendees. Climbers from Belgium and Bulgaria were also present.
The Original Event Message:
"Bratilesti Bouldering: 4 Days, 100 RoutesOCTOBER 9-12, 2014Over the course of 4 days, we invite you to climb together on as many routes as possible in the Brătilești area. There will be a guidebook (topo) of the area. (More details coming soon) 10 projects from across the entire area will be proposed for 'solving.' On Saturday evening, prizes will be awarded for 'most routes climbed,' 'hardest route climbed,' 'most projects solved,' and probably others (we are still thinking about it until then). As we get closer to the event, we will provide more details.Happy climbing.
